An evening to invoke Shiva’s supreme power

(Note: This event takes place at Ananda West L.A., 11870 Santa Monica Blvd, Ste 208)

Maha Shivaratri traditionally occurs when Hindus offer special prayers to the destroyer of delusions, Shiva. In addition to honoring the night when Shiva married Shakti, this auspicious time also celebrates when he performed the dance of primordial creation, preservation and destruction.

It’s an evening of worship which dispels ignorance, emanates the light of knowledge, and ushers in the spring after the cold winter.

We will invoke Shiva’s supreme power through:

  • Meditation
  • Chanting
  • Storytelling
