KIMIA YAQUB

Born a Muslim in Iran, Kimia experienced the fragrance of Sufi poems and literature. Always curious about the nature of reality and her role in it, she sought answers, but her heart’s desire remained elusive. As a teen, Kimia spent several months in India studying yoga. Her deep connection to Paramhansa Yogananda drew her back to California where she continued her spiritual studies through Ananda Sangha. In Yogananda’s teachings she found the answers she sought. Kimia’s heart is fulfilled through meditating, and through sharing yoga and meditation at Ananda Thousand Oaks and Ananda Los Angeles.
