Kriya Yoga is far more than a meditation technique.
Paramhansa Yogananda said that Kriya Yoga is the most effective path available for helping one to reach the goal of “Yoga,” union with the Divine. Growing spiritually on the path of Kriya Yoga requires more than just knowledge of and practice of the techniques. It is a way of life. Based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, this is an introduction to the Path of Kriya Yoga.
Kriya Yoga is both a scientific and heart-based approach to the spiritual life. It is based in individual, experiential knowing of ourselves in union with the Divine and includes techniques for stilling the mind, helping us expand our awareness of spiritual realities. The path of Kriya Yoga offers techniques for self-mastery in every aspect of life, from calming turbulent emotions to awakening deep compassion and love for others. Ultimately, it is a comprehensive study of how to live a spiritual life.
This introductory class will help you:
- Gain an understanding of Kriya Yoga as a comprehensive spiritual path.
- Gain specific guidance on how to get started on the Path of Kriya.
This course does not teach the actual technique of Kriya Yoga. The goal of this course is to open a door — to help you learn about Kriya Yoga as a path to union with God and invite you to take your next steps on the journey of Self-realization.
