It’s not the “WHAT,” but the “HOW!” -Swami Kriyananda
Join the Ananda Thousand Oaks community for a joyful morning of selfless service on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Help clean and uplift the center, contributing to its beautiful, harmonious energy. Enjoy the inspiring atmosphere of chants and spiritual fellowship while working together. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, share in community, and connect with others in a meaningful way. Serving with like-minded friends within a spiritual environment transforms our lives, bringing joy into everything we do, awakening Soul consciousness.

Seva is selfless service, performed without any desire for personal gain or recognition. When we approach all actions in life as instruments of God’s divine presence, in alignment with His will, each task becomes a step toward true freedom (moksha).
Ananda Seva, or joyful service, is a powerful way to dissolve the ego. The spirit in which we serve holds far greater importance than the specific acts of service. When we serve alongside like-minded souls in a spiritual environment, our lives are transformed. Joy fills every action, and we awaken to the deeper consciousness of the Soul.
Date & Time: Sunday, Sept. 29, 10:00am-11:00am.
Location: Ananda Thousand Oaks, 1321 Thousand Oaks Blvd. #124.
Ananda is a worldwide, nondenominational, non-profit center for spiritual growth, meditation and community based in the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. All are welcomed.
