OPEN HOUSE – Satsang
Ananda’s primary goal is to help people achieve Self-realization. As Yogananda said, “Self-realization means realizing your true Self as the great ocean of Spirit, by breaking the delusion that you are this little ego, this little human body and personality. . . .”
Come learn about our growing community and how Ananda supports people in their spiritual paths. More than just a place to visit, Ananda is a supportive environment for the practice of meditation & yoga ideals.
During this open house we will:
- Introduce you to Paramhansa Yogananda’s energization exercises which help awaken the inner source of energy. Practicing them will give you increased energy, an awareness of its flow in the body, and a sense of well-being. Doing these exercises before you meditate will also help to release any stored bodily tension and enable you to sit still longer and more comfortably while meditating.
- Followed by chanting
- Brief meditation
- Short discussion about a spiritual topic.
Stay to ask questions & enjoy light snacks.
