From Joy, I Came, For Joy I Live, In Sacred Joy I Melt!  -Paramhansa Yogananda

Hosted by Nayaswami Devarshi

Paramhansa Yogananda, as the young Mukunda, was chided by the saintly Bhaduri Mahasaya, “You go often into the silence, but have you developed anubhava [actual perception of God]?”

Master remarked that, “He was reminding me to love God more than meditation. “Do not mistake the technique for the Goal.”

Kriya is both a science and an art. Kriya uses the science of technique to still the mind and the waves of feelings. It uses the art of devotion and intuition, which alone can take us to divine union. This is one of the most important principles for the kriya yogi to understand.

This retreat will help us to re-look at our kriya practice with a view towards keeping the goal of kriya always in front of us: union with God as Divine bliss. We will work with applying devotion and joy in the practice of the techniques, and in our meditation time following kriya.
