Music is a divine art, to be used not only for pleasure, but as a path to God-realization. 

This event will be led by SPECIAL GUESTS Nayaswami Narayan and Peter Kretzmann.

Join us for an evening kirtan—joyful, devotional chanting that lifts the heart and quiets the mind. Through simple, repeating melodies and sacred mantras, we offer our voices together in a spirit of devotion, allowing devotion to carry us inward toward peace, joy, and divine connection.

No musical experience is needed—just an open heart. Come as you are, sing if you wish, listen if you prefer, and rest in the shared magnetism of uplifted hearts. Kirtans are beautiful ways to dissolve the stresses of the week and remember the joy of inner communion with the Divine.

Nayaswami Narayan: Nayaswami Narayan is a disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda. At Swami Kriyananda’s request, Narayan and his wife Nayaswami Dharmadevi became the spiritual directors of Ananda Los Angeles in 2010. Prior to that, they lived at Ananda Village in Northern California, where they returned in 2024. Narayan helps manage the publishing arm of Ananda, Crystal Clarity. Narayan and Dharmadevi were made Ananda ministers, Lightbearers, and Kriyacharyas by Nayaswami Jyotish.

Nayaswami Dharmadevi first started her spiritual journey through Reiki and the healing arts. She founded an online international healing school sharing Reiki with thousands of people around the world.

Through her healing journey she discovered Ananda and met Swami Kriyananda in India where she received Kriya Yoga initiation. While living at Ananda village, Dharmadevi started Online with Ananda and Ananda’s Virtual Community – online platforms sharing the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda.

Dharmadevi co-leads Crystal Clarity Publishing with her Husband Nayswami Narayan and also serves as a kriyacharya through Ananda preparing and initiating souls on the path of Self-realization.

Peter Kretzmann: Born and raised at Ananda Village, Peter has served as a teacher, musician, and friend through Ananda Los Angeles and Ananda Worldwide. His particular passion is to share these timeless truths in a relatable and practical manner to inspire others in their own journeys.  He also owns MeditationBench.com, a family-run business of meditators who make and sell hand-crafted, meditation products and www.yoganandabangles.com, where he builds, anneals and repairs the Astrological Bangle intuited and created by Swami Sri Yukteswar and popularized by his disciple, Paramhansa Yogananda.

  • Short meditation
  • Opportunity to make a simple offering of devotion upon the altar. An offering can be as simple as a flower or a prayer.
  • Closing with healing prayers for the world.
