JAI GURU KIRTAN
Join us for an evening of sacred chanting and meditation. Chanting has the power to transform and uplift the soul, and to open the heart.
This evening’s theme will be devotion and attunement to the Guru. We will enter in silence, seeking to stay in a state of openness and attunement throughout the kirtan. Toward the end of the evening each person will offer a candle and a flower upon the altar.
Candles will be provided. Please bring a flower.
Chants are simple to learn, words are also provided. We’ll sing beautiful chants in English as well as some Indian chants accompanied by harmonium and guitar.
This is a beautiful and powerful experience. Through chanting and meditation we can experience the living presence of the Divine within us.
